The mission of the Hawaii Athletic Trainers' Association is to enhance the quality of health care provided by its members and to advance the athletic training profession.

The Hawai'i Athletic Trainers' Association was founded in 1985; 4 out of the founding 8 still work on the islands today!

HATA has over 200 members in multiple settings extending over 6 islands.
